Art Nouveau Wall Piece-Augusta Bay -Italy

Hand forged steel and copper with fabricated frame. 30"H x 25" W.

Having the good fortune of growing up in Italy-more specifically Sicily and Sardinia, I grew to literally view the world in island or archipelago forms. As such I developed an appreciation of organic forms as related to a peninsula being viewed from above.

This piece reflects the influences that come from Augusta Bay in Sicily - a common panoramic scene from our home at the time. Costa De Li
Oliandri.

Graceful Lily

Graceful Lily--a compilation of restructuring, catharsis, and elegance. This piece reflects a spirit of sensuality with the manifestation of
departure.
The intent of this piece was to reflect on a frame of reference that illustrated a magnitude of sensuality--to take the given moment. The organic forms were meant to be seductive and to instill a sense of promiscuous rebellion.

Duchess Wall Piece

Approx. 4ftW x 2ftH.

A study of patterns through the use of balance and loose connectivity. A resemblance to the gentle nurturing of a relationship.
